Company Description
Zebra’s digital holographic technology enables collaborative 3-D viewing without the need for viewing aids, such as glasses or goggles. This unique technology produces images with full-parallax, exhibiting natural perspective change as the viewer moves in any direction. Zebra holographic imagery offers utility for visualizing complex, three dimensional battlefield information in an intuitively comprehensible, group-collaborative format. Zebra holographic imagers produce laminated film print sheets which can be rolled and placed in a backpack for tactical use by the warfighter. The technology provides high-resolution images in monochrome or color, without distortions. Digital holographic images are scalable to any size, can contain multiple unique images and animated sequences, and can be displayed in multiple formats. Unlike other 3D display technologies that require complex projection systems, Zebra holograms are activated with a simple, point light-source such as a flashlight, halogen lamp, or sunlight. Zebra holds 23 US patents on this breakthrough technology with an additional 12 US patents and 6 international patents pending. The company is under contract with DARPA to develop the next generation real-time interactive holography to meet the current and future needs of the military.

Functional Area Capabilities
Zebra provides production services for both color and monochrome imagery tile sizes up to 2 feet by 3 feet out of its Austin, Texas facilities. These tiles can be joined to create composite images of any size. Zebra Imaging also produces monochromatic holographic imagers (printers) for sale to military and government agencies as well as defense contractors. Zebra Imaging provides onsite and oncall technical support to its imager systems, and offers graphic GIS support to create and/or enhance input digital data sources.
