The CARD is submitted to the OSD Cost Analysis Improvement Group (CAIG) resulting in an Independent Cost Estimate (ICE).
      • Scope of the cost analysis, the analytical methods to be used in preparing cost estimates, and the procedures and presentation of the estimates to the CAIG.
      • Preparing the program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) and Program Office Estimate (POE) based on the Joint Staff Data Call.
      • Ensuring data from the POE, ICE, and Component Cost Analysis (CCA) are incorporated into the Joint Cost Position (JCP).
