Description
Oberon is
an Engineering, Operational Intelligence and Information
Technology (IT) services company founded in Virginia in January
2002. Even though our company is young, it is populated with
personnel who have spent their entire careers providing services
to the federal government.
Oberon is currently organized into 2 business units:
Communications and Data Management Division and Intelligence
Operations Division. Communications and Data Management is
headquartered in Manassas, Virginia. Intelligence Operations is
headquartered in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Most of the functional business of Communications and Data
Management is involved with IT engineering services,
communications (tactical, operational and telecommunications)
engineering and support, and enterprise data management, along
with selective software development efforts. Government clients
include DISA, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint
Electromagnetic Technology Program Office, J8, and Department of
Homeland Security.
Intelligence Operations is comprised of Oberon customers
associated with the United States Intelligence Community
worldwide. We provide software development, operational test and
evaluation, integration and field service engineers for the
Biometrics Automated Toolset (BAT) in CONUS and the OIF/OEF AORs;
seasoned intelligence instructors for the mobile Human
Intelligence training teams specializing in Tactical HUMINT Team,
Tactical Questioning and Cultural Awareness training for the
force; Enhanced Analysis Interrogation Training for senior
interrogators and analysts deploying to support OIF/OEF in Iraq,
Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Military Intelligence domain
experts for the training of the MI-BOS of the Stryker Brigade
Combat Teams; Intelligence Analysts supporting the Tactical
Overwatch Support Team; and engineers and analysts supporting
Operational Test and Evaluation agencies at the Joint and National
levels. Our government clients include the U.S. Army Intelligence
Center and Fort Huachuca, the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security
Command, the National Security Agency, the Thunder Mountain
Evaluation Center and the Joint Interoperability Test Command.

Systems Supported

- Systems 1, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT)/BAT is used for
detainee identification and management through iris fingerprints
and facial recognition with "plug and play" interfaces to sensors/
Direct support to CENTCOM, USMC, NGIC, and other governmental
agencies in support of the Global War on Terrorism, Operation
Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

- System 2, Enterprise Data Management Services/Services geared
to implementing a net-centric data strategy by providing both
strategic and technical services ranging from developing an
Enterprise Data Management vision to data warehouse design and
logical data modeling. Oberon has experience in data integration
of legacy systems for DISA, data warehouse experience for the
NGIC, and extensive XML design expertise for Service Oriented
Architecture environments at both government and commercial
organizations; expertise in Data Standard Development, Data
Harmonization and Integration, Metadata Collection and Repository
Population, Data Warehouse Design, Extract Traqnsform and Load
(ETL) Development, and Database Administration/Support provided to
DISA, NGIC, TSA and other Federal Agencies.
